I am now a political science major, who will hopefully try to gain admittance to law school. It was a flurry of activity last week, as I decided to cancel my Nursing classes and went on to transfer back to Unc-charlotte. It was hectic, between officially changing my major, finding a place on campus, packing, moving etc. But now, I am fairly settled.
Political science classes are not that bad, they are different to what I am used to. They are more reading intensive, and I am glad to be facing this new challenge. Currently, I'm signed up for 18 hours, and I hope to manage my time better.
My concern right now, is buying books. Political science classes have required textbooks along with supplementary books. So, I'm trying to find textbooks online at the moment.
I am also trying to get re-acclimated with the walking. Charlotte has a sprawling campus and I'm trying to get back into the rhythm of bus stop times and walking.

We recently got a new puppy, a labrador retriever mix at eight weeks old. We have not had a dog since Bingo, a border collie died in early 2006. He's energetic, smart and very affectionate. Lately, he's been teething, and gnaws on everything. From shoes, clothes, socks to glass and furniture. We don't know what breed the father was, but his labrador phenotype is showing. The only way you could tell he wasn't a full blooded Lab is a white star on his forehead. It is similar to our last dog's star on his head.
