Video Blog: Travel Montage

Had the day off at work today, and since most of my friends are on a normal schedule, I spent it all by myself and got the chance to look through my external hard drive. I combed through the pictures I have collected over the years as well as video clips and decided to make a montage. Unfortunately, I did lose some of my clips when my old laptop croaked last October.

So embedded below is my latest attempt to be artistic via montage. Locations include Hong Kong, Rutgers University, the UK,  Philippines, Dominican Republic, Vancouver and Las Vegas. It also includes the final play of the 2012 Super Bowl, an incomplete Hail Mary attempt by Tom Brady vs the Giants - which we viewed in a beachside restaurant in Puerto Plata. Enjoy!

Thumbs ups and subscriptions are greatly appreciated!

My adopted hometown Charlotte, NC was in the forefront of political news last week due to the 2012 Democratic National Convention. The convention may have been a welcome disruption to the town. Many businesses altered hours and a significant amount of uptown workers were granted the week off due to the traffic and the security measures enacted. A friend and I trekked uptown on bikes from NoDa neighborhood to check out the DNC. Here are a couple of pictures:

I would have loved to attend the acceptance speech but due to my new work schedule, this lone outing on a Tuesday night was the only opportunity I had. It was nice getting on television behind Chris Matthews though.
